ABOUT THE COLLECTION: COCKTAIL PARTY

My first memory of a cocktail party takes place at age seven-ish, at my grandparents’ red house on Lewis Lane. I don’t recall the occasion, but I do remember wearing ruffled socks and Mary Janes with my dress. I knew the event was something special. 

Guests arrived and began to mix and mingle. Conversation flowed and laughter bubbled like the champagne fizzing in the glasses. My cousins and I huddled in a corner, slurping soda and eating way too many butterfly-shaped crackers with fancy cheese.

We were together, having fun and celebrating who-knows-what.

 When I began creating this collection, I was inspired by the spirit of a cocktail party: celebration, hospitality, togetherness, and joy. The paintings are infused with that essence and aim to bring that atmosphere to your home.
